The Legal Bookkeepers Institute (LBI) was created by collaboration between our Principal Consultant, Caroline Kessler, and a former Chief Trust Inspector of The (NSW) Law Society.
The training has been extended to cover all states and territories of Australia. The development has been done in conjunction with the ACT and Tasmanian Law Societies and is recommended or required by them. The training should meet the requirement for CPD points for all states and territories.
It’s aim is to ensure all lawyers have a good understanding of the rules and regulations for trust accounting for the states or territories in which they practice. Please note that if you practice in multiple states, the rules, while similar, differ in specific requirements from state to state. Lawyers practising near a border will find it beneficial to undertake the training for all states and territories in which they practice.
The LBI web site has been set up as a stand alone web site. To see more about the training please click the link below and you will be taken to the LBI web site.
